Incredible Tent Veranda
Inside Of Canvas Tent Room
Hélène Aumont is a very busy woman: a mother of two, co-owner of an up-scale antique and art shop, equestrienne and now an interior designer. The Paris-born ex-model definitely has a sense of style that she carefully turned into craft. She also mentioned that she loves to live in the rural area:
It’s so nice to live in the country. The atmosphere is conducive to creativity. I unwind here.
The country-side that she refers to is the Pepperhill Farm, in the heart of Santa Barbara’s wine country. The Aumont family’s 1950’s farm house is located on 10-acres of flat valley. The beautiful canvas tent is located in the corner at the end of the lush green lawn. Hélène Aumont has managed to bring an incredible atmosphere to the ordinary canvas tent, renovating it into a charming veranda.
She has brought some eastern-style details – Moroccan poufs, Chinese lanterns and lots of rattan furniture. The fact that the tent has furnishings makes it quite original by itself, however, what is even more surprising is that the tent has a XIX century cabinet! The cabinet is filled with various shells and other seaside souvenirs that the family has gathered during their vacations.
Hélène Aumont has also used lots of cheerful fabrics, patterned in blue and orange. Especially comfy is the soft rug that is laying out the floor of the tent. The interior furnishings that she brought inside of an outdoor feature helped to shape the cozy environment for the tent. So, do you like her project?
