In-ground Swimming Pool

Now, in-ground pools are the variety that is basically carved into the ground. They are more expensive than the above-ground pools, starting from the construction point to regular maintenance expenditures. The in-ground pools can be made from fiberglass, vinyl and concrete. Fiberglass pools are monolith; therefore they are delivered in one piece. If you live in an area that is prone to earthquakes, it is a better choice than a concrete one.

The concrete pools are the most expensive for building; however the shape of the pool can be custom-made. You can also use different types of coating, such as Pebble Tec and etc. The vinyl-liner pools are built with panel walls that are fastened together and sit on concrete foundation. The advantage of the in-ground pools is in their flexibility, custom-made approach, and they can fit into the landscape. The major disadvantage is their cost, and the construction process may take a while. Among other disadvantages is the costly maintenance: the chlorination of the pool will cost you up to $ 100 a month, and you will also need special filtration and cleaning system to sustain the water.
